hi all
just had an awsome trip to Brussels .We had a lovely time and enoyed the stay with my brother in law.
he did all the cooking and it was 5* food every day complymented by french cheeses, champagne and wine, fresh white spargel, groper in saltcrust, duck leg confit, choice of 12 cheeses with wine to acompany ,yes,we had time to wander the streets of Brussels.
To get there we had to spend 3 hours on the motorway in stau's but the autobahn flows throughvery beautiful country sides with medows and forrests and so it didn't matter too much if it took a bit longer.
on the way home we had a lunch stop in Boppard ,a little village on the Rhein just a few km from the Loreley ,very beautiful place.I had never been there before myself.
The weather in Germany is so around 20 C and cool wind quite plesant. What struck me was the long evenings wist dusk until 1030pm.lovely.
till next time I sign off now

Trip back to the Homeland

I am looking forward to going back to Germany and to find out what trends there are in Hospitality in Europe
I will stay with MUM in Freiberg Am Neckar near Stuttgart, but I will also travel and visit Family in Brussels and old friends in Freiburg on the Elbe-north of Hamburg and also go to Berlin to a housewarming party from an old friend.I will update as I go along with stories of interrest.
This is my first blog and I want to invite all our customers and friends to make this an interresting site.
keep warm in NZ.
